Company will Fund $20,000 in Grants for Women Entrepreneurs to Celebrate Women’s History Month and Announces Nationwide Calendar of Joint Events

New York, NY – February 12, 2025 - The Enthuse Foundation announced that Amazon has become a $100,000 annual program sponsor, reflecting a shared commitment to empowering the next generation of women entrepreneurs. Through this year-long collaboration, Amazon has pledged to support the Enthuse Foundation’s mission, including a significant presence at the annual Enthuse Foundation Pitch Competition.
“We are thrilled to be joining forces with Amazon to expand the reach of our mission to invest in the next generation of women founders and entrepreneurs through community, education, and capital,” said Kim Lawton, Enthuse Foundation Co-chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer of Enthuse. “The support of Amazon affirms the work we have been doing to lift up women entrepreneurs and will supercharge our efforts to level the playing field and bring these women the resources they deserve.”
“As women in business, we know we have to work harder to get the same opportunities for investment and access in the marketplace,” said Kristy Snyder, Enthuse Foundation Co-Chairwoman and Chief People Officer at Enthuse. “This Amazon sponsorship will help us open more doors for women entrepreneurs and elevate our efforts for greater impact.”
“At Amazon more than 60% of sales in our store come from independent sellers, most of which are small and medium sized businesses,” said Abby Malchow, Manager of Small Business Partnerships & Education at Amazon. “Therefore, we are excited to partner with the Enthuse Foundation to support women-owned businesses by providing education that will help fuel their growth with Amazon while also providing access to critical funding through grants.”
$20,000 in Grant Funding
The Amazon sponsorship also includes two $10,000 grants for women entrepreneurs. These grants will launch in March 2025 in celebration of Women’s History Month.
Expanding Reach with In-Person and Virtual Events
Amazon and the Enthuse Foundation will host in-person events in five major U.S. cities, including Austin, Minneapolis, and Chicago, to bring together women entrepreneurs to discover best-practices for launching, selling, and growing in Amazon’s store. The in-person events will also include pitch practice and networking opportunities. Virtual events will complement these gatherings, ensuring accessibility for entrepreneurs nationwide.
A Marketplace for Success
Amazon will serve as the official Marketplace sponsor at the annual Enthuse Foundation Pitch Competition in November 2025 featuring a shoppable Amazon Marketplace spotlighting innovative women-owned businesses that sell in Amazon’s store. This unique showcase will provide them with an opportunity to sell product and connect with investors, mentors, and industry leaders.
